I) “ELIE AIZER SULTAN AND INDIAN SOCIETY OF OTOLOGY FOREIGN TRAVEL FELLOWSHIP”

This fellowship is offered by Dr. ANDRE A SULTAN AND INDIAN SOCIETY OF OTOLOGY once a year for period of 15 days. The selected candidate will be given Rs.20,000/- by Indian Society of Otology towards travel expenses. Dr. ANDRE A SULTAN will provide accommodation and the candidate can take part in the temporal bone course conducted by them. The candidate will have to make his/her own travel arrangements although breakfast and lunch will be provided every and a gala dinner at the end of the course.

 
II)“TRAN BA HUY AND INDIAN SOCIETY OF OTOLOGY FOREIGN TRAVEL FELLOWSHIP”
This fellowship is offered by Dr.Patrice Tran Ba Huy of Paris and Indian Society of Otology once a year for period of 15 days. The selected candidate will be given Rs.20,000/- by Indian Society of Otology towards travel expenses. Dr.Tran Ba Huy will provide accommodation. The candidate will have to make his/her own travel arrangements.
 
III). “CAUSSE CLINIC AND INDIAN SOCIETY OF OTOLOGY FOREIGN TRAVEL FELLOWSHIP”
This Fellowship is offered by Dr.Robert Vincent of Beziers & Causse Clinic and Indian Society of Otology. Like above two fellowships the selected candidate will be given Rs.20,000/- by Indian Society of Otology towards travel expenses. The duration of fellowship will be for 15 days. Accommodation will be provided.
 
Applications are invited by the Secretary of Indian Society of Otology for the above fellowship. The rules and regulations for the selection for the above fellowship are as follows:
 

1. The candidate must be a member of the Indian Society of Otology.

2. The candidate must possess
M.S. or F.R.C.S. or Dip.N.B. (ENT) or any other equivalent qualification in ENT.

3. Must have minimum
3 years experience after post graduation.

4. Must be less than
45 years of age as on 01.01.2010

5. Must submit a certificate from the Head of the Institute or department that the candidate has done Temporal Bone Dissection under guidance

6.Must have attended at least one temporal Bone dissection course in India or abroad.

7. Candidates will be called for an interview before the executive committee in
Coimbatore during ISOCON 2010.

8. The selection will be made on the basis of the C.V. the interview by the executive committee and practical temporal Bone Dissection, if necessary. The decision of the executive committee regarding the selection of the candidate will be final.

9. Eligible members may apply with full details of name, age, sex, qualification, experience, address, telephone number and fax number, etc. certified copy of postgraduate qualification, recent C.V. and any other relevant information.

10. Last date for receipt of application is
January 15th, 2010.

11. After successful completion of the fellowship the candidates must submit a detailed report to
the Secretary of Indian Society of Otology and to the concerned foreign sponsors about the trip and fellowship and how he or she has been benefited by the fellowship.
